Did you know that 45% of costs can be cut by the integrity of a weld! Welders all know that it comes down to two things; talent and equipment. If your choice in filler metals is giving you more that 1/4 inch in over weld or spatter. That is way to much! The cost of quality can become exponentially great depending on the cost of the filler metal and size of the project, even labor costs become an issue. Making due with a product should not be an option. Please check out Devasco's website: www.devasco.com. Let us work for you and help keep your costs down and your function level high. Products are designed, manufactured and tested in Tomball, Texas. With over 830 filler metal options to choose from you can be assured of a good burn!

Emergency Response
An Oil pipeline can pump up to 450,000-670,000 barrels a day. Shutdown costs for an unscheduled repair can have a domino effect across the country. Detecting integrity issues is key in having a safe and stable pipeline. Devasco's specialized wires and electrodes are developed and manufactured on site and have surpassed the tensile strength that is needed for the repair of such structures. Devasco has responded and developed wires and electrodes to take care of emergency situations when time is imperative to the integrity of a pipeline. Specialized filler metals can be welded into areas of compromised integrity, providing an even stronger insurance of protection. Quality, timing, and devotion is key in the rapid response system Devasco has in place.

Our wire is Top notch!!!
The Devasco team recently had 5 employees attend the AWS fall educational on the cost of quality. We at Devasco take that seriously and are committed to the testing of our products to make sure everything out the door is top notch. We have a crew of welders dedicated to this process. (Tom and Hollis you guys are doing a great job testing all our products). All day tomorrow they will be testing our YS140 wire to assure it's quality. Way to go welding engineers, it is important that everyone who receives our wire know that is has passed a vigorous set of tests, and nothing less than the best goes out the door. We have a great team and we are lucky to have such skill at our facility!!!!

Devasco Learning
The AWS Fall educational had speaker Rob Tessier discussing the cost of quality. Devasco had 5 employees in attendance. The class was fabulous and we all were able to learn the exorbitant cost of low quality materials and poor workmanship. Devasco's high quality materials combined with skilled labor can make a difference of up to 44% in the overall cost of a job. It's great to find out what a difference our company makes. Keep dishing out quality products Devasco!!!

Fabtech
Devasco has been preparing for the Fabtech convention in Atlanta, November 1st-4th. This should be a really great show this year. Our R&D team here is so special and energetic. We are really fortunate to have such great talent here. They have been working tirelessly to improve many of the standard issues that effect welders on a day to day basis. I know that for myself, I can't wait to get to the convention and share with everyone the awesome things going on at Devasco.
